“I enjoy the challenge that watercolor brings to the table. When I start a painting, there is a vision in my mind of that painting- the challenge comes from convincing the medium, to see the same way.”
An award winning artist, Vicki enjoys painting a wide range of subjects, but finds water and boat scenes the most gratifying. Honors include: Cover Artist for the 2004 Candlelighters Calendar, Finalist in Landscape Division in Artist’s Magazine’s 2003 Competition, and received the Merit Award in Watercolor at the Eastern Shore Art Center’s 35th Art Show in Fairhope, Alabama. Vicki is a signature member of the Mississippi Watercolor Society and a member of the Eastern Shore Art Association of Alabama, the Southern Watercolor Society, and the Jackson Watercolor Group. She has been a member of the Gaddis Group for several years under the teachings of Ann Barron. You will find her works included in many private and corporate collections.
