Tommy Goodman is a Carrollton, MS artist that attended the University of Mississippi from 1964-67 and received his Bachelor of Arts from Delta State University in 1968. Continuing his education, he did post grad work in fine art at the University of Alabama and received his Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University.
Artist statement: “Growing up in the Mississippi Delta, I’ve always been intrigued by the haunting horizontal vastness in Delta panoramas, particularly the skies. As I paint from memory and past observations, the completed image is always an abstraction of the original experience.'“
