Joel Brown
Joel grew up with his sister Allison, learning much of the gallery and framing business by ‘osmosis’ – by watching his mother and father at work in the gallery. Joel joined the family business at the age of 25 after earning his business degree from Millsaps College in 1988. He learned he had a natural sense for designing frame solutions and consulting with corporate clients. He placed art for Community Bank locations from Memphis to Florida. Joel also appraises art for individuals, businesses and estates. As a voracious reader, he especially enjoys the research involved with each appraisal. Like his entire family, Joel is an animal lover. His two dogs, Ellie and Jethro, accompany him to work each day and occasionally greet customers at the gallery.
