Kit Whitsett Fields, a Jackson native, paints in watercolor, oils, and acrylics. She began painting professionally in 1995 and has since studied with many renowned and accomplished artists, and has been juried within multiple, regional and local shows. She is a member of the Mississippi Watercolor Society and Southern Watercolor Society, as well as the Gaddis Group. In 2018, her painting was chosen as the official poster for the USA International Ballet Competition.
