The multi-talented Dick Ford is an artist who has been productive in a variety of creative fields. He lives in Mississippi, in a region that has been occupied by his ancestors for two hundred years.
Ford finds expression in a range of mediums including pen and ink, chalk paintings and a variety of linear abstractions using mixed media.
His educational background includes studying art with Jim Meade, VernonĀ Merrifield, and Walter Lok at the University of Southern Mississippi (BA with honors) where he then produced and taught television and animation. He then moved to Germany we he created computer animation for motion pictures and major European car companies.
His award-winning paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, video art, short films, animations, and commercial work have been shown at numerous art shows, one man shows, film festivals (including Cannes), Superbowl commercials, art galleries, and television broadcasts in America, Europe, and Japan.
