Chatham currently teaches painting and drawing at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She received her B.F.A. from the University of Southern Mississippi, and her M.F.A. in painting from Indiana University in 2007. From early on, her life was centered around making art, as the daughter of an art faculty member at Southern Miss and a high school art teacher and landscape painter. It is her pleasure and privilege both in teaching and in artistic production to give back to her native, southern Mississippi.
