Born in 1973 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Angelika immigrated to Germany at the age of 18. Quickly learning to speak fluent German she turned her studies to Graphic Design at Kollping-Academy for Communications Design and Multimedia. After a few years and continuing her studies into Web Design and then Visual Communication, she knew in her heart she wanted more for herself.
In 2002, she and her new husband moved to the United States and began a family. It was two years later that she began to paint to fill the creative urge inside her. She soon realized that painting was food for her soul.
For subject matter she turned to the landscape around her near Noxapater, Mississippi.
Her oil paintings depict a lush, sunlight-infused world where a sense of tranquility envelopes you.
